Hexaware Shares Surge 8% on Anthropic AI Reseller Deal for Claude Models

Hexaware Technologies shares jumped 8% in early trading after the IT firm was named an Anthropic Authorized Reseller for Amazon Bedrock. This partnership allows Hexaware to sell and integrate Anthropic's Claude AI models directly to enterprise clients globally.

Shares of Hexaware Technologies surged 8% in early trading on Monday, reaching Rs 534.25 against a previous close of Rs 494.55. The significant gain pushed the company's market capitalization to Rs 32,142 crore, following news of a strategic partnership that positions Hexaware at the forefront of AI solution delivery.

Hexaware Becomes Anthropic Authorized Reseller

The Mumbai-based IT solutions and services firm announced it has been designated an Anthropic Authorized Reseller for Amazon Bedrock. This exclusive authorization places Hexaware among a select group of global companies empowered to resell Anthropic's advanced Claude AI models directly to enterprise clients worldwide.

Under this new agreement, Hexaware gains the capability to sell, integrate, and provide support for Claude models. This move significantly bolsters Hexaware’s commitment to delivering transformative and responsible AI solutions across its client base.

Empowering Enterprise AI with Claude

Hexaware's President and Global Head of Digital IT Operations & AI, Siddharth Dhar, emphasized the strategic importance of this development. "This authorization underscores the strength of our foundational AI capabilities and the confidence our clients have in us," Dhar stated. "Claude’s safety-first architecture is particularly well-suited for highly regulated industries, and Hexaware combines deep industry expertise, engineering excellence, and global delivery scale to transform cutting-edge AI models into real-world business solutions."

Claude, developed by Anthropic, is known for its strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and enterprise-grade performance, making it ideal for mission-critical AI applications. Its advanced reasoning capabilities and extensive context window are particularly beneficial for complex use cases in highly regulated sectors.
