Shares of Hexaware Technologies experienced a 4% decline in early trading following the announcement of CEO Srikrishna Ramakarthikeyan's resignation. The software services firm's stock fell to Rs 522.95 from its previous close of Rs 545, reducing its market capitalization to Rs 32,118 crore.
Ramakarthikeyan, affectionately known as 'Keech,' will step down from his role as CEO and a member of the Board of Directors on October 28, 2026. He has served Hexaware for an impressive 12 years and will remain with the company as a senior advisor to facilitate a smooth leadership handover.
Vivek Jetley Appointed New CEO
In a move to ensure continuity, Hexaware Technologies simultaneously announced the appointment of Vivek Jetley as CEO Designate. Jetley is slated to join the company and officially assume the CEO position on October 28, 2026, coinciding with Ramakarthikeyan's departure.
