India's largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank Ltd, has reported a robust 9.1 percent year-on-year (YoY) rise in its standalone net profit for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025-26. The bank's bottom line surged to Rs 19,221.05 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2026, up from Rs 17,616.14 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Dividend Announcement for Shareholders
Bringing positive news for its shareholders, the HDFC Bank board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 13 per equity share. This dividend is based on a face value of Re 1 per share for the fiscal year concluded on March 31, 2026.
The record date, which determines the eligibility of shareholders for this final dividend payout, has been established as Friday, June 19, 2026. Investors holding shares on this date will be entitled to receive the dividend.

This latest payout contributes to a total dividend of Rs 15.50 per equity share for the entire financial year 2025-26. This figure includes a special interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share that was previously distributed to shareholders on August 11, 2025. The announcement was made on April 18, 2026.
