Factors Influencing Gold Prices in India

Several key factors contribute to the daily fluctuations and overall trends in gold prices across India. These include the international gold price, which is influenced by global economic conditions and geopolitical events. The exchange rate of the US Dollar against the Indian Rupee also plays a significant role, as gold is internationally priced in dollars. Furthermore, domestic jewellery demand, particularly amplified during India's festive season, greatly impacts local market rates and procurement costs for retailers.
