Retail Gold Purity Explained

In the retail market, gold is primarily traded in two purities: 24-karat and 22-karat. While 24-karat is considered the purest form of gold, 22-karat is widely preferred for crafting jewellery. The addition of alloyed metals in 22-karat gold provides enhanced strength and durability, making it more suitable for intricate designs and daily wear.
