Gaurik Fashions, a key player in India's franchise-based apparel and sportswear retail sector, has submitted its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The filing signals the company's intent to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to fuel its ambitious growth plans.

IPO Details and Fund Utilization

The proposed IPO will consist of a fresh issue of 62 lakh equity shares, alongside an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 8 lakh shares by the investor selling shareholder, Aries Opportunities Fund. The funds raised through this public offering are earmarked for several strategic initiatives:

  • Establishing new Skechers retail outlets across India.
  • Investing in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Gaurik Lifestyle, to open new Guess brand stores.
  • Allocating capital to Nuvora Retail, another subsidiary, for the launch of new Bugatti stores and initial inventory procurement.
  • Repaying outstanding borrowings for both Gaurik Lifestyle and Nuvora Retail.
  • Addressing general corporate purposes.

Credora Partners and Unistone Capital have been appointed as the book-running lead managers for the issue, with MAS Services acting as the registrar. The company's shares are slated for listing on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE Ltd.

The IPO structure reserves 50 percent of the net offer for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), 35 percent for retail investors, and 15 percent for non-institutional investors, ensuring broad participation across investor categories.
