Real estate firm Gaur Group has made a substantial move to bolster its footprint in the Delhi-NCR market, securing approximately 35 acres of land along the Yamuna Expressway. The acquisition, valued at around ₹700 crore, positions the company for significant residential development in the Noida and Greater Noida regions.
The land parcels, located in Sector 18 of the Yamuna Expressway—a key corridor connecting Noida and Greater Noida with Agra—were obtained through an open auction conducted by ICICI Bank. The purchase includes three distinct land parcels, with the largest spanning approximately 24 acres.
Gaur Group Chairman Confirms Acquisition
Manoj Gaur, Chairman of the Gaur Group, confirmed the acquisition, stating, "We have purchased 35 acres of land from ICICI Bank for around ₹700 crore." The company is currently in the process of settling all outstanding dues, including External Development Charges (EDC) and compensation to farmers, to pave the way for future projects.
Major Housing Launches Planned
Following the completion of these formalities, Gaur Group intends to commence modern residential projects on the newly acquired land. The developer has ambitious plans to launch a large housing project on the 24-acre parcel in the near term. Additionally, the company is preparing to unveil three to four new housing projects across Noida and the Yamuna Expressway region by March of next year.
This latest acquisition is expected to significantly enhance Gaur Group's presence along the Yamuna Expressway, an area where it already has a project with an estimated revenue potential of ₹1,900 crore. The new developments are projected to support the company's sales performance in the 2026-27 financial year, building on its strong momentum from the previous fiscal year, which saw sales bookings of approximately ₹5,500 crore.
