Digital lending platform Fibe is strategically expanding its offerings beyond conventional personal loans, now focusing on purpose-linked financing for specific consumer needs like healthcare, education, insurance, and travel. This specialized financing segment witnessed a robust compound annual growth rate of 83% between fiscal year 2024 and 2026.
Growth in Purpose-Driven Financing

Through strategic partnerships with various service providers, including hospitals, educational institutions, and insurers, Fibe facilitates direct financing at the point of purchase. This innovative approach streamlines the credit process, eliminating the need for customers to apply for separate personal loans.
The company's merchant network has seen substantial expansion, growing from 3,294 touchpoints in FY2024 to over 10,387 in FY2026. Furthermore, financing linked to specific consumer needs accounted for approximately 47.49% of new customer acquisitions in FY2026, a significant rise from 24.01% in FY2024.
Personal Loans Remain a Core Business
Despite the rapid growth in purpose-driven financing, personal loans continue to be a foundational element of Fibe's operations. In FY2026, the company disbursed 1.47 million personal loans, totaling ₹12,702.24 crore.
The AUM for personal loans increased from ₹3,483.03 crore in FY2024 to ₹6,656.76 crore by March 31, 2026. Over the same period, the average personal loan ticket size grew from ₹53,059 to ₹86,547, and the average repayment tenure extended from 11 to 16 months.

The company reported that its underwriting framework utilized more than 27,500 variables as of March 31, 2026, with an impressive 95% of loans processed through automated decision-making. These figures underscore the extensive scale and technological efficiency of Fibe's digital lending operations.
