The creator explained that while eating vada pav in Delhi, she felt the taste was unsatisfactory, leading her to believe the true version could only be found in its city of origin, Mumbai. Impulsively, she booked a flight from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport while still in a cab.
Her expenses quickly mounted. The flight itself cost around ₹5,000. At the airport, she purchased a cup of tea for ₹165, followed by cup noodles for ₹300 during her 4 PM flight due to hunger. She landed in Mumbai around 7 PM, but her quest for the beloved snack hit an unexpected snag.

Upon arrival, the creator encountered Mumbai's notorious traffic, claiming it took her 70 minutes to cover just 11 kilometers. This unforeseen delay forced her to book a hotel room for the night, adding another ₹4,000 to her growing bill. Reflecting on the moment, she stated, "As soon as I took my first bite, I realised that Vada Pav is really available in the city of dreams. After spending so much time and money, I can say that this is the best Vada Pav of my life." By her own calculation, the entire endeavor, including flights, airport snacks, and accommodation, totaled around ₹15,000.
