Launched on Friday, September 18, Express@DEL allows passengers who have completed their web check-in and possess a valid e-boarding pass to bypass the general entry queues. Instead, they can head directly to designated gates, leading them straight to security screening without the need to visit traditional check-in counters or baggage drop-offs.
Dedicated Gate Numbers at Each Terminal
To utilize the Express@DEL service, passengers should proceed to the following gates based on their departure terminal:
- Terminal 1: Gate No. 5
- Terminal 2: Gate No. 1
- Terminal 3: Gate No. 2
This system is specifically tailored for those who do not require any checked-in luggage, aiming to reduce congestion at busy entry points and enhance overall passenger flow.
Important Considerations for Passengers
While Express@DEL offers a faster entry, it is crucial for travelers to remember that this facility does not exempt them from mandatory security checks or immigration procedures. All passengers will still need to complete these applicable screenings before proceeding to their boarding gates.
