Notably, Mumbai made its debut on the global list, scoring 77 points and ranking ahead of major cities like London and Miami. This inclusion highlights the significant growth of India's remote-work infrastructure and the city's increasing attractiveness to international professionals.
Mumbai performed strongly in areas such as transport costs, the availability of coworking and flexible workspaces, its climate, and accommodation options. However, the city faced challenges regarding broadband speed and quality, the variety of local events, and its overall happiness index.
