Bandhan Bank Unveils Four New Mastercard Credit Cards with Tailored Benefits

Bandhan Bank has introduced four new credit cards in partnership with Mastercard, targeting diverse customer segments from Gen Z to premium travelers. The cards offer tailored rewards, lounge access, and lifestyle benefits, featuring a digital-first application process.

KOLKATA – Bandhan Bank announced its entry into the credit card market on Monday, September 9, 2026, launching a portfolio of four new credit cards in collaboration with Mastercard. This strategic move expands the bank's product offerings, solidifying its position as a universal bank catering to a broad spectrum of consumer needs.

The new credit card lineup – Sparks, Ignite, Flare, and Lumina – is designed to serve various customer segments, from younger generations and emerging affluent consumers to frequent travelers and those seeking premium lifestyle benefits. The bank emphasizes a seamless, digital-first application and servicing journey, allowing customers to apply online or through its extensive branch network.

Diverse Offerings for Every Lifestyle

Each of the four cards is meticulously crafted to provide a unique combination of rewards and lifestyle advantages:

  • Sparks: Geared towards everyday spending, this card offers accelerated rewards on grocery and apparel purchases, a welcome bonus, domestic airport lounge access, BookMyShow offers, a fuel surcharge waiver, and EMI cashback benefits.
  • Ignite: Focusing on grocery and travel, Ignite provides welcome and milestone rewards, both domestic and international airport lounge access, and exclusive EazyDiner benefits.
  • Flare: Positioned as a dedicated travel card, Flare includes an Amazon Pay voucher as a welcome benefit, access to domestic and international lounges, BookMyShow and EazyDiner perks, and golf privileges.
  • Lumina: The premium offering, Lumina, delivers enhanced rewards on international spending, an Oberoi gift voucher upon activation, comprehensive domestic and international lounge access, concierge services, airport meet-and-greet assistance, alongside BookMyShow, EazyDiner, and golf benefits.

Mastercard Partnership and Market Reach

Mastercard's President for India & South Asia, Gautam Aggarwal, commented on the collaboration, noting its timeliness as India's credit landscape evolves with increasing digital adoption and shifting consumer expectations. The partnership combines Bandhan Bank’s extensive customer reach with Mastercard’s global network and capabilities.

Bandhan Bank currently operates across 35 of India’s 36 states and Union Territories, serving over 3.2 crore customers through more than 6,400 banking outlets. As of June 2026, the bank reported a deposit base of Rs 1.65 lakh crore and advances exceeding Rs 1.56 lakh crore, underscoring its significant presence in the Indian financial sector.
