Axis Bank and travel fintech Scapia have launched their co-branded credit card, targeting travel-focused Indian consumers. It offers zero forex markup, no annual fees, airport lounge access, and rewards on UPI and travel bookings.

Axis Bank, in collaboration with travel fintech Scapia, has officially launched the Scapia Axis Bank Credit Card. This new co-branded offering is designed for digitally savvy Indian consumers who prioritize travel, integrating payments, travel bookings, and rewards directly within the Scapia application. The card was announced on September 3, 2026, and provides users with a seamless platform to manage spending, book trips, and redeem rewards.

Key Benefits and Features

The Scapia Axis Bank Credit Card stands out with several attractive features aimed at enhancing the travel and everyday spending experience:

  • No Fees: The card comes with zero joining or annual fees, making it an accessible option for new users.
  • Zero Forex Markup: International travelers will benefit from a zero forex markup on all overseas transactions, significantly reducing costs associated with foreign currency conversions.
  • Generous Rewards: Cardholders can earn up to 20% in Scapia Coins on eligible travel bookings made through the Scapia app. Everyday spending also earns rewards, with up to 10% on eligible transactions.
  • UPI Rewards: The card offers 5% rewards on eligible UPI, online, and offline transactions of ₹500 or more, with no maximum cap on rewards for this category.

Additional perks include complimentary dining, shopping, or spa privileges at airports, with up to ₹2,000 back in Scapia Coins on eligible airport shopping.

A Focus on Seamless Travel

Arnika Dixit, Group Head - Cards, Payments and Wealth Management at Axis Bank, emphasized the collaborative effort. “Our partnership with Scapia reflects a shared focus on building simple products, digital-first, and closely aligned with how customers experience travel today,” Dixit stated. She added that the collaboration aims to create a more connected experience that goes beyond traditional co-branded offerings, delivering meaningful value throughout the customer journey.

Anil Goteti, Founder and CEO of Scapia, highlighted the card's design around modern travelers. “Young Indians are travelling more than ever before, and we built Scapia to give them a financial product that matches that ambition,” Goteti said. He noted that Scapia users have already utilized the platform in over 175 countries, and this partnership with Axis Bank will expand its reach to a wider base of Indian travelers.

Expanding Digital Reach

This collaboration strengthens Axis Bank’s co-branded card strategy and expands its footprint in the rapidly growing travel and digital-first segments. For Scapia, this marks its third banking partnership, further solidifying its presence in the Indian travel ecosystem.
