Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly leased three floors of a commercial building in Mumbai's bustling Andheri West to a nutrition brand, TruNativ F&B Private Limited. This significant five-year leave-and-licence agreement, commencing August 15, 2026, involves approximately 8,428 square feet of premium commercial space.
Financial Details of the Lease
Under the terms of the agreement, TruNativ F&B will pay a monthly rent of ₹33 lakh for the premises, located in the Signature building on Link Road in Oshiwara. This translates to an approximate rate of ₹392 per square foot. Over the full five-year term, including a 5% annual rent escalation clause, the deal is projected to generate rental revenue of nearly ₹21.8 crore for Bachchan. The nutrition company has also paid a security deposit of ₹1.98 crore, with the agreement officially registered on August 7, 2026.
Bachchan's Expanding Real Estate Portfolio
This latest transaction further underscores Amitabh Bachchan's active involvement in Mumbai's lucrative real estate market. The veteran actor has been associated with several high-value commercial property dealings in the Andheri West area previously.
- 2024 Purchase: Bachchan reportedly acquired three office units, spanning around 8,429 square feet, in the very same Signature building. This purchase, which also included three parking spaces, was valued at approximately ₹59.58 crore, with Bachchan paying around ₹3.57 crore in stamp duty.
- 2023 Lease: Prior to this, in 2023, Bachchan leased four other office units within the Signature building to Warner Music Pvt. Ltd. That agreement, which began in March 2024, secured a monthly rent of ₹17.30 lakh and included 12 parking spaces.
Andheri West: A Hub for Commercial Growth
The consistent demand for commercial properties in Andheri West, particularly along Link Road and Oshiwara, is highlighted by such transactions. This area has solidified its reputation as a prime location for various businesses, including corporate offices, retail outlets, media companies, and consumer brands.
