The highly anticipated action thriller, Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, has garnered ₹58.60 crore globally during its opening weekend. Despite being a significant entry as the first female-led film in the renowned ‘YRF Spy Universe’, the movie has received a lukewarm response from audiences.

Directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Yash Raj Films, Alpha follows two elite agents, portrayed by Bhatt and Sharvari, on a critical mission against a dangerous adversary, played by Bobby Deol. The cast also features Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role, with Hrithik Roshan making a special appearance as super-spy Kabir Dhaliwal.

Domestic and Worldwide Box Office Performance

Domestically, Alpha collected a total of ₹34 crore over its first three days. The film's daily collections indicate a gradual increase over the weekend:

  • Day 1 (Friday): ₹9.25 crore
  • Day 2 (Saturday): ₹11.50 crore
  • Day 3 (Sunday): ₹13.25 crore

Despite the Sunday surge, overall occupancy in major metropolitan areas remained low. Delhi registered 33 percent occupancy, Mumbai 27.3 percent, and Bengaluru 31.3 percent, reflecting a challenging start for the film at the box office.
