Tewolde Gebremariam spent more than a decade at the helm of Ethiopian Airlines Group, where he orchestrated one of the most remarkable transformations in the global aviation industry. Under his leadership, Ethiopian Airlines evolved from a regional player into Africa's largest, most profitable, and highly awarded airline group.
- Revenue Growth: The airline's revenue increased more than fourfold.
- Fleet Expansion: Its fleet nearly tripled in size.
- Network Development: Gebremariam spearheaded the expansion of global route networks and developed major hub operations.
- Infrastructure Building: He also oversaw the establishment of world-class maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facilities and aviation training infrastructure.
