Shares of Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL), formerly known as Adani Transmission Ltd., surged to a 52-week high on Tuesday following the announcement of robust financial results for the June quarter (Q1 FY27). The company reported a significant 124.22% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit attributable to owners.
Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights
For the quarter ended June 2026, AESL posted a consolidated net profit of ₹1,149.06 crore, a substantial leap from ₹512.48 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. This impressive profit growth was supported by a strong performance across its operations.
Revenue from operations also saw a healthy rise, climbing 42.41% year-on-year to ₹9,711.08 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹6,819.28 crore in the same period last year. The company's total income for the quarter reached ₹9,852.20 crore.
Share Performance and Market Reaction
Following the earnings announcement, AESL's stock gained 3.45%, hitting a one-year high of ₹1,789. The strong price action was accompanied by high trading volumes, with approximately 2.12 lakh shares changing hands on the BSE. This figure surpassed the two-week average volume of 1.53 lakh shares, indicating strong investor interest.
The company's market capitalization stood at ₹2,10,230.47 crore. Despite the significant revenue growth, total expenses increased by 43.94% year-on-year to ₹8,439.71 crore, compared to ₹5,863.55 crore in Q1 FY26.
